Talent: Spanish Art Song by Fernando Obradors, "Del Cabello Mas Sutil"

 Platform: The importance of the Fine Arts in South Carolina's Schools. This topic is very important to her because she has been passionate about music since she was very young. She has visited and will continue to visit many schools across the midlands to promote her platform.  Lyndsey also had the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Palmetto Patriot award ceremony when police chief Chris Garner, of Pelion, recieved the Palmetto Patriot award.  She has also had a lot of fun participating in local fundraisers, as well as judging and emceeing local fundraiser pageants.

Talent: Jazz Number to "It's About That Walk" by Prince

Platform: Standing up Against Peer Pressure, with emphasis on underage drinking.  Allyson is working closely with the Alive at 25 program.  You can go to their facebook and blog with her.  She can also be seen on the CW channel for the month of March for the Wray Automotive infomercial that features the Alive at 25 program.  She also is appearing on WIS TV to speak on the upcoming Alive at 25 class sponsored by the Irmo Police Dept.  Along with partnering with the Alive at 25 program, Allyson is also leading a small group of girls, ages 8-11, to give them advice with bullying and peer pressure.
